Remembering Mya Gabriella
This site was created in memory of out Mya Gabriella. A loving daughter, sister and friend.
Born in Puerto Rico
May 11th, 2003
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Mya Gabriella Sinceno-Martinez (Goldi, Yaya), age 21, our most beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend passed suddenly on Saturday, September 21,2024. Mya Gabriella was born on May 11, 2003, in Metairie, LA. She is survived by her mother Krystalle Martinez, step father Joseph Wright, younger sisters Halliey, Noelle, and Luisa, brother Carmello, grandparents Sandra Perez and Wilfredo Velez, grandfather Roberto Martinez, Titi Gretchen Carr, Tio Roberto Martinez, many cousins, and many more great friends.
Mya grew up in Puerto Rico for the first few years of life then moved to the Houston suburbs where she graduated High School with her Associate Degree in Applied Science. After high school she went to Xavier University before returning home to be closer to family and friends. She was deeply committed to helping others and was pursuing education at the University of Houston for a career as a social worker.
Her 1,000-watt smile lit up every room she entered. Those who knew her, loved her deeply. A shining star whose light was dimmed far too early, but we know she is in heaven with our Heavenly Father and beloved Mamaita. Forever 21.
